Head over to Nationwide Plaza sometime for lunch….the large lobby inside has palms and smells of a maintenance crew a little too eager to put chlorine in the fountains. Anyways, it’s about as close to a rain forest as you can get in Central Ohio…I beg to differ…

jbcmh81ParticipantThis makes me a lot more excited to see the entire peninsula plan. It may not be nearly as generic as I feared it could end up being.

Also, Walker, Franklin Park Conservatory is great, and I do go there to escape the cold, but I think something like that in the middle of downtown (that I can walk to daily) would really brighten the winter.

Alex SilbajorisParticipantI really miss the old jungle room at the conservatory, partly because I first saw it as a little kid, and the Wow Factor was intense.

the way this reads to me is ‘bear wrestling’. Anything less than that, and I’m going to be disappointed.

Shouldn’t be too hard to connect it to the new Downtown facility. ;)

Pickerington_KyleParticipantI think choo choos should be in major consideration if this plan comes together, so we can connect the Short North, Arena District, Scitoto Peninsula, Milestone 229, and Columbus Commons/State House. With branches extending to OSU, German Village, Airport, Casino, and Franklin Park. We are so close to creating a really vibrant downtown. All we need now is to fill in the old casino spot, Scioto Peninsula infill, and some trains!
