    About SOUP!

Columbus SOUP is a quarterly dinner program that creates dynamic and democratic spaces for community engagement, participation, and investment through crowdfunding events and projects. These dinners are always open to the public, and everyone gets a vote in deciding which projects to fund.

    The Fall DINNER!

The Fall dinner will be hosted at Strongwater Bar and Gallery event space at 400 West Rich Street. We’ll be surrounded by some amazing local art, exposed brick walls, industrial skylights, and Columbus history! Dinner will be a mix of different soups, breads, and salads provided by some generous local restaurants, groceries, and chefs. You’ll also have access to a cash bar with drinks crafted by the staff at Strongwater. The projects theme for this dinner is Arts & Culture.

    SOUP GRANTS!

100% of the money collected is used to fund the

night’s SOUP grant. If you’re local and have a great arts and/or culture focused project with community impact that needs funding, we’d love to hear from you! Go to ColumbusSOUP.org to find out more information or to submit your idea! Submissions are due September 20!

    How to ATTEND!

It’s easy – bring $7 cash (minimum donation) for dinner & a vote.

Go to ColumbusSOUP.org to read more about attending the

dinner. RSVPs help us plan a more perfect event for our guests,

but they’re not mandatory. Trust us though, you’ll want to

RSVP – we’ll have a surprise waiting for you at the door.

We hope to see you Sunday, September 29th at 400!

    What’s happening?

The Winter SOUP Event is almost here, and we want to make this the biggest and best one yet. We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone’s support and feedback, and because of your suggestions, we’re doing things a bit differently this time.

You’ve told us – loud and clear – that you like the transparency of SOUP when it comes to collecting money, but bringing cash isn’t always convenient.

We hope you like this compromise – Eventbrite! You can now pre-purchase tickets before the event, but we’ll still give all the money collected – in cash – to the night’s winner.
