    The National Kidney Foundation Kidney Walk is a fun, inspiring community fundraiser that calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation. It’s also an opportunity for patients, family, friends and businesses to come together. We are looking for active volunteers for the planning committee as well as day of event volunteers! Examples of possible duties are as follows:

    • Recruit sufficient number of teams and individuals to participate in walk

    • Develops publicity and generate media coverage

    • Serves as a manager for day of event logistics

    • Manages and organizes all party planning aspects

    • Assists with day of event registration, set up and clean up

    • Secures and organizes food and beverages for event

    • Organizes entertainment for the day

    • Plans and assists with youth activities at event

    • Secures vendors for wellness area on day of event

    • Willing to cooperatively work with NKF staff

    • Willing to achieve overall goal to raise money and awareness for kidney disease
