    April 16, 2014 10:17 am – Miriam Bowers Abbott

After a long, hard winter, Food Truck Season is just starting to bloom again in Columbus. This is the year to try Teodora’s Kitchen. Teodora’s Kitchen is a great big, golden yellow Panamanian food truck. The portable kitchen has weathered winter’s hostility by teaming with a couple of local businesses: Seventh Son Brewing Company for evening eats, and some Sunday lunch gigs at Zauber Brewing.

New City Laws Allow Food Trucks on the Streets
    April 20, 2014 8:00 am – Ayana Wilson

After months of back and forth between the city and the Central Ohio Food Truck Association (COFTA) regarding the sites at which food trucks can operate, regulations that seem to please both sides have finally passed.

Food trucks now have the ability to serve on city streets more easily. Previously, they were primarily allowed to conduct business only on private properties, mostly breweries, hospitals, and office buildings. Now, with this law being passed, there’re more opportunities for those with mobile businesses.

What we don’t really have is a place where Asian flavors meet. That is, until now. Mixing Bowl Asian Grill is a brand new food truck focused on serving fresh, healthy food from Korea, Japan and Vietnam.

En Place Food Truck Hits the Street
    August 8, 2014 7:30 am – Ayana Wilson

What do you do when you and your family really enjoy eating out, especially at food trucks, but could never really eat at the same one owing to the fact that you eat meat but your family doesn’t? Sure, you could wait for a festival, where the sheer number of mobile restaurants all but assures that you and the family can finally dine together at the same time. But, what about on a Tuesday afternoon? Or when festival season eventually comes to an end?
