    Seek and Sought

Jennalee Cook, who’s a member of the Creative Babes artist collective, just launched her own online store called Seek & Sought on Cyber Monday that exclusively sells her artwork.

She has a very eclectic style that involves everything from metal work, to hand engraving, and a number of pretty dangerous looking tools. Her style as an artist evolved in the several years she spent touring with Umphrey’s McGee, making and selling custom merchandise for them as they toured around the world.

She still works in music behind the scenes for some of the larger arena shows doing costume work and set installation, and has done everything from almost accidentally killing Taylor Swift’s cats enroute to the airport, and baking a cake for The Eagles

She is as comfortable with a blowtorch and table saw, as she is with a paintbrush. Some of her creations you can wear, some hang on your wall, some are furniture or functional memorabilia, but the thread of music and the lyrics and image of her favorite artists runs through all of her work.

The online store is focused on reflecting her workflow as an artist, which is constantly changing. The store launches monthly releases of limited edition pieces. Each month there will be a new series of releases, based on whatever new project she is inspired by.
