    RTA Red Line trains to get a welcome makeover

    RTA will remodel its dingy Red Line train interiors in 2013, a $2.5 million project that riders welcome. “It’s about time,” says David Gray, a regular rider who thinks the trains’ tan, brown and orange decor evokes “boredom.”

    The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority will install new floors, seats, windows and lighting inside the Red Line cars, which run between East Cleveland and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

    What motivates your writing on your blog ? Is there a broader principle of which C-bus transit is a part ? Thx man.

    True. The Red Line is real deal rapid transit.

    The other lines in Cleveland are light rail, though.

    just was trying to do something good for the city by encouraging transit–stopped writing when i decided there were other ways of doing it better.

    Such as ? But perhaps writing is at least part of the process whereby those of us concerned about transit issues collaborate; brainstorming solutions, planning, executing, and assessing results ?
