The magic of the carousel will be revealed Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as visitors to Mansfield, Ohio have the rare opportunity to tour Carousel Works and discover how a carousel is brought to life. Carousel Works is the worldÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s largest manufacturer of wooden carousels and home to 28 talented artisans who specialize in all aspects of carousel manufacturing.
Carousel Works current projects, from a new carousel for the LA Zoo to the complete restoration of figures from the historic Central Park Carousel from New York City, will be on display.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 & under. Advance tickets are recommended and available at http://www.mansfieldartcenter.org or http://www.carouselworks.com, or call (800) 965-9324 and mention event 241517. All proceeds from the tour will benefit childrenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s art education scholarships at the Mansfield Art Center.
