A New Downtown Market Event will be starting up in April (more details coming soon) and we’re currently looking for street vendors of all types (retail, food, art, jewelry, crafts, clothing, etc) that will be vending on the sidewalk outside of existing businesses.

Below is a link to the simple vendor application, which you can fill out and submit to Jay Schmidt of Civitas Now: @civitasnow.com">jay@civitasnow.com

Feel free to contact Jay with any questions you have about the form or questions regarding merchant operations and opportunities.

If one sets up and sells it would only be $10 correct? Is this something like Pearl Alley or Independents Day but at night maybe with music and such?

*There is a vendor deposit / setup fee of $10 per market.

    HI Susan

Yes, if a vendor would like to participate, there will be a $10 deposit / set-up fee required each time the vendor participates. ($10 a month, basically).

The market series will be held on Saturday nights, once a month.

I suppose it will naturally have some similar elements you would find at Pearl Alley or Independents Day, but the street will not be shut down and the vendor booths will be set-up on the sidewalks. Gay St. businesses that typically do not stay open later at night will have extended hours and push part of the storefront outside. And yes, there will be music.

If you have any other questions, feel free to give me a shout. Thanks!
