I almost bought tickets for last night’s game when they first became available.
There was too much fear that this was going to be the final game of the series, that I couldn’t pull the trigger.
So glad that I was wrong, but still pretty mad at myself for not believing.

Was at both Monday and Wednesday’s games. Both nights were electric, but last night after the tying and game winning goals, people were hugging, dancing, and screaming. It was awesome!

I was able to pick up some nosebleed tickets. I’ll be there for game 6.

That’s the second game in a row Wiz took a bad penalty with the CBJ down late in the 3rd. Luckily, last night the good guys were able to come through.

Is it time to think about cutting him loose in the offseason? For all his brilliance, he’s notorious for lets just say brain farts and penalties like that can’t happen in big games.

Wisniewski looked like a high schooler last night. Couldn’t skate, couldn’t pass, couldn’t do anything.

Unfortunately, he has a no trade clause. CBJ are stuck with his $5.5 million annual salary.

    April 28, 2014 11:13 pm — Chris Landauer

Game 6 started out real slow, but they woke up in the final 15 min of the 3rd. What a way to finish the season. The fans had every opportunity to boo, but we continued cheering, even after the game ended. Looking forward to next year.

Series loss still a step forward for Columbus
    April, 29, 2014
    By Scott Burnside | ESPN.com

COLUMBUS — It seems longer than two weeks ago that this series began with 11 Blue Jackets playing in their first-ever NHL playoff game. And while it was hard for the players in that room to equate this loss with anything other than bitter disappointment, it’s hard not to view this two-week journey as anything but a success for a franchise that knew almost nothing about playing at this level before this spring.
