Following upon one of the suggestions, I had the Spice of Life at Brown Bag today for lunch. A little messy, but great stuff. I’ll be eating my way down the rest of the list.

I’m so glad I’m not hungry right now! :)

Most of mine have already been mentioned-
-grilled buttermilk chicken with goat cheese at Skillet
-Shrimp po boy at Johnny Oak’s
-Smoked Salmon BLT at Sage (do they still have that?)
-Veggie burger at North Star or 3rd and Hollywood (I count this as a sandwich b/c it comes between bread)

    YUM!

My list is vegetarian biased–sorry, I’m a vegetarian. Many have been mentioned before, but I figured I’d throw more fuel on the fire:

    Truffled griddled cheese from Skillet
A veggie arepa from El Arepazo
Roasted portabella sandwich with red onions and chimichurri sauce from Si Senor
Falafel sandwich from On the Fly
Veggie po’ boy from Creole Kitchen
Good enough for Jan to Paint from Katzinger’s
The veggie sub on wheat from Danny’s Deli in Westerville
Vegetarian ham bahn mi from Lac Viet
The veggie patty wrap from Phat Wraps

That’s what I can come up with off the top of my head.

Based on suggestions, I went and tried the avocado chicken salad at Tip Top tonight. Holy shit. What a genius idea.

Get it on a pretzel roll. Then it’s beyond amazing. On that note, my favorites are:

    1) Village Addiction at Brown Bag Deli
    2) Truffled Grilled Cheese at Skillet
    3) Porcheta at Skillet
    4) Chicken Salad on a Pretzel Roll at Tip Top
    5) Cubano at Plantain Cafe

I wonder if they could put those crab cakes on a sandwich at Cotter’s?

I have been a fan of the Tip Top pot roast sandwich since the beginning. In fact, while I have tasted many of the menu items, I almost always order the pot roast. :) My only change is the cheese – I prefer the shredded cheddar to the swiss.

    mine are:

Roasted Pork Bahn Mi at Mi Li Cafe
Turkey and Jalapeno at Si Senor
    Torta Piema at Cuco’s
Steak wrap with everything at Phat Wraps

And I wouldn’t turn down a reuben anywhere – Lindey’s and TipTop have particularly good ones.

The buns at Wendy’s have been really sticky lately, I don’t understand it.
