Best CRUST in town = Sparano’s (Hague S. of Trabue)If they could get better toppings it’d be the best pizza in C-Bus by far.I’m a crust guy, and though their pepperoni & sausage are great… that’s it. All veggie toppings are done poorly, so it’s pepp, sausage, both or nothing.SERIOUSLY fantastic crust, however!!!

I like Sparano’s, too, as far as Columbus style pizza goes, but I think their best feature is their sauce. we always get ours with extra sauce.

for some reason I got a hankering for some Tommy’s pizza yesterday. I’ve never been a huge Tommy’s fan, more of a, ya it’s ok kind of guy.

Well I got a large pep and ZOMG it was good. Greasy little puddles of goodness in each pepperoni, and a crispy cracker like crust.

    Just thought I’d share.

edit: just went back and read some eary posts in this thread. I guess I had the same overall on Tommy’s feeling 5 years ago lol

Surprised nobody has said Tommy’s. I’m not a huge fan but it seems to almost have a cult following around town. I get it from time to time. But… it’s just decent.

Bono Pizza. They cook your pizza at over 1800 degrees in a couple of minutes.

    Odd location, though…

I’ve also heard Harvest is good.

Sounds like Plank’s on Parsons. Have you had their pizza? Comparable?

I had Cowtown Pizza at the 5xNW Pizza Crawl and thought is was very good especially considering the price of some other places.

Harvest is definitely my favorite. I also think Bono and Element are great.

I think Hound Dog’s Smokin’ Joe is delicious as well.

Here’s a two-part Foodcast episode we did on the subject a little while back:

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Clever Crow! What was I thinking…

I’m torn between Harvest, Clever Crow, Plank’s, and Yellow Brick. So I’ll just keep sampling them until I can reach a well-informed conclusion.

If you’re on the West Side (aka the Casino District), I highly recommend Emelio’s. Thin crust with crispy, greasy pepperoni. Nothing fancy, just good pizza.

Harvest and Bono are my two faves as well. I have to say that the flatbread/pizza at Till is also really, really good.

Bono – I can’t remember which of the pizzas it was, but we requested it with “a shit-ton of garlic” on it, and not only did we keep vampires at bay for days, but that pizza was crazy delicious. Maybe it was the all-green one? I dunno. I need to go back, it’s been too long, clearly.

I’m in Harrison West, but I’ve been known to drive distances for good pizza.

(AKA The Weston District)… I have yet to have Emelio’s – this is wrong. I also heard they have some kind of salad that they’re famous for??
