“We had heard this was a nice arena, but we never expected this — the brick sidewalks and the brick roads — just beautiful,” said Paul O’Brien, 64, who traveled from near Memphis, Tenn., to watch Belmont take on Georgetown.

columbusmikeParticipantGood for Nationwide. They might even be wise to give back to the community the amount of this money in some sort of public asset…a statue, fountain, etc.

MRipleyParticipantWoe, glad to see that city council was all over this “emergency” legislation to pass more money on to Nationwide.

columbusmikeParticipantWow, more great news. Hopefully they’ve included a small portion of retail space….seems like an ideal spot for a baseball themed bar/restaurant.

swinzo1010ParticipantI wish there was another pedestrian bridge over the railroad in between Neil and the one by Arena Crossing. I know its not far but it feels like forever if you have to walk down to Neil to get back up and around

Seriously, this is something like the 25th five story building I’ve read about going up in the past year. The landscape is really going to change when these are all finished, and I honestly get the feeling we’re nowhere near being done. Exciting times, Cbus!!
