    Demolition near North Market clearing way for parking lot, for now

    A long-vacant warehouse in the old Hamilton-Parker Co. complex west of the North Market is coming down to make way for a parking lot and “pocket park.” The demolition of the 50-year-old storage building at 108 W. Vine St. follows 10 years or more on the market without any takers. Hamilton Parker President Adam Lewin said it has had structural issues that have made redevelopment of the 10,000-square-foot building difficult. The demolition does not include the BBR restaurant in an adjoining building at 106 W. Vine St.
