Hey, does anyone have any recordings of the Mix Up the Groove show with DJ Poppa Hop that played on Saturday nights on WCBE in the late 90s and early 2000s?

If so, I’d like to try to get a copy of them. Message me!

I forgot all about that. Blast from the past.

Great show, although, I preferred the show that aired before that one called “All mixed-up”. Poppa Hop was good but I can only take so much drum & beats before I crave melody again. I did occasionally set the VCR to tape the shows on on VHS audio and I looked around after I saw your post but I don’t think any copies remain. I’ll post back here if any turn up.

VHS audio? Wow, learn something new every day!

If you do find any, please let me know! Thanks :)

This might be a stretch but have you asked WCBE? They may at least have playlists if not actual recordings or they may have a contact number for the DJ.

In fact, I just emailed them the other day. If I get a source, I will post back here :)
