OneBagTravelParticipantI imagine StateofDevotion across the street, lawn chair unfolded, cracking open a tall boy, and savoring every moment of that buildings destruction lol

mas917ParticipantIts a great day in the neighborhood! It also looked like the trophy shop and whatever else is in the plaza next door might be closing up shop.
I’m shocked there haven’t been any 5XNW/ Grandview/ Columbus comments on this thread… but not sad to not to see them :)February 11, 2015 1:33 pm at 1:33 pm #1063049

Hah, that’s not far from the truth! I’ve passed that place several times a day for the better part of a decade watching it get worse and worse. Eventually you start to give up hope.
I’d be fine even if it’s just a parking lot for Byrne’s and Woodlands, they need it. Anything is better than the shit show that was there until this morning.

That corner is much more suitable for development with the addition of that parcel. If that’s the case we’ll probably wind up with The Metropolitan II.

tonloc620ParticipantNo plans right now, Metropolitan Holdings is the listing agent, the site is currently for sale. Great opportunity if you know anyone interested in developing the site.

katierobinson72ParticipantIt would be cool to have a food truck lot there (think East Austin)!
