Pubs, generally, provide 3 essentials: plenty drink, satiating food, and lively company. The Pub Polaris, located at 1554 Polaris Parkway, does all that, and they do it with style. Certified by Guinness to pour the perfect pint, The Pub Polaris has 27 taps, not including the 4 featured at the Tap Table, with seating room for 8.

The Pub Polaris also carries 28 varietals of the good brown stuff: 9 small batch and single barrel bourbons, and 19 scotches from Scotland’s 3 distinct regions. They even have their own Proprietor’s Blend of Woodford Reserve, specially made for The Pub. Lots of families enjoy game day here, and they play well with older alumni, young professionals, and bachelors looking for a cool scene.

And what else are they all munching on but Fish & Chips, the British pub standard? The Fish & Chips at The Pub is a cultivated version of the classic: thick-cut fries lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, served alongside a huge fillet of fried white fish and creamy house-made tartar sauce.

It’s everything you want in a dish like this. It’s filling, but doesn’t feel so while you’re eating, and it can sit for a while, so whether you choose to get it while it’s hot, or work your way through like a patient running back, this bar snack is ideal for watching the game.

The Pub Polaris opens at 11am daily. They also sponsor a Beer Passport program, where customers can earn discounts on beer for life, so swing by on your next game day.
