Locally-owned fashion boutique THREAD has announced the opening of its Short North location at 930 N. High St. This is the contemporary clothing store’s second location, following its flagship in Grandview Heights.
THREAD offers a selection of women’s clothing, accessories, home decor, and gifts, from local as well as big-name designers and brands that are often hard to find in the Midwest. The boutique incorporates contemporary styles ranging from bohemian to minimalism, while the store itself highlights a modern approach with homey decor and minimalist accents.
Being a part of the Short North business and retail community was a need for THREAD owner Miranda Boyle. A Columbus native, Boyle says the area has been good to a lot of local businesses.
“The Short North is vibrant, diverse and inclusive, which is everything that we strive to be as a retailer,” says Boyle. “It’s a huge accomplishment to be opening our second store here.”
THREAD is surrounded by continuing developments in the Short North. The store is located in the Brunner Building, which will soon be home to a new restaurant, luxury apartments, and 12,000 square feet of office space.
THREAD’s official grand opening will be Thursday, August 9. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
