First Look: Lomonico’s on Gay Street

It’s been over a full calendar year since we first heard about Lomonico’s opening a Downtown location, and almost a full calendar year since the planned opening date. Owner Craig Lomonico told Columbus Underground last year that he originally wanted to be open in November of 2014.

Despite the delays, Lomonico’s has officially opened. A soft opening kicked off the new space last night for friends and family, with normal hours beginning this week. Their new location can be found at 340 East Gay Street, near the corner of Gay and Grant. The new 2,800 square foot restaurant and bar seats 80. Lomonico said that he plans to open up the patio during warmer days next week, and is waiting on their official chairs and barstools to arrive.
