It’s been a month of openings for Bexley’s Main Street corridor, with Harvest Pizzeria, Brassica, and now House Wine debuting locations there in June. House Wine, which first launched in Worthington in 2007 under local sommelier Donnie Austin, will welcome guests in Bexley starting this Friday, June 29. It’s located at 2262 E. Main St.
Those familiar with the House Wine concept will find it relatively unchanged at the new spot. The store/bar offers a wide variety of wines by the bottle, as well as a select number of wines and beers by the pour and glass. Carryout beer and chilled wine are available in a cooler at the back of the store.
At 1,100 square feet, House Wine Bexley is about half the size of the original location. It offers a large table for a big party, three two-tops, and bar seating.
It’ll operate with the same hours as the Worthington location: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; and closed Sunday.
