First Look: Buckeye Bourbon House
Downtown’s newest bar officially opens for business tomorrow. The Buckeye Bourbon House is opening its doors to the public at 36 E.Gay St., located inside the Residence Inn hotel, operated by Concord Hospitality. The new venue features over 40 bourbons to choose from, along with a list of cocktails, punch bowls, and a small plate menu.
“We are creating an upscale bourbon bar that extends beyond a spot for after work outings and celebrating life’s accomplishments,” said Dean Wendel, Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for Concord’s Bar and Restaurant Group. “We wanted to open a bar that would become a local watering hole with depth in bourbons and whiskeys, and delicious cocktails made by talented mixologists that are passionate about their craft.”
In addition to food and drink, customers can keep themselves entertained with shuffle board, chess and dart games spread throughout the room.
