Just in time for Taco Tuesday, Cleveland-based Barrio opens the doors to its first Columbus location today, Tuesday, September 8.

The build-your-own-taco joint took over the former home of Winking Lizard at 1416 W. Fifth Ave. in Fifth by Northwest. Options abound on the menu that features a little something for everyone, from the carnivore to the vegan. There’s no shortage of choices when it comes to the salsa, queso and guacamole selection, either. Diners can wash it all down with margaritas available in over a dozen flavors, or a traditional Mexican cerveza.
Barrio’s hours are 4 – 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Happy Hour runs from 4 – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and a brunch menu will make its debut in the coming weeks.
