    First-ever Heart Work Award!

The Columbus Foundation presented the very first Heart Work Award to Kyra Crockett Hodge! Kyra has worked at Huckleberry House, Inc. for 20 years, advocating for youth in our community.

She is an individual that embodies selfless love, often walking the streets making sure that youth have what they need. She makes sure that they are in homes and have personal items to survive, amidst countless other duties. Kyra does the work that is often not pretty and not outwardly thanked. However, she touches the lives of many, every day.

The Heart Work Award recognizes those in our community who are in the trenches but overlooked, on the frontlines but in the background—working hard, with spirit, and with heart.
