On Tuesday, Dec. 11, family and friends will celebrate the life of beloved 10TV meteorologist Chris Bradley, who passed away at his home on Wednesday, Dec. 5, after a two-year battle with leukemia.
Bradley is survived by his husband, Jason, and their two children, Spencer and Maria.
On social media, Bradley often spoke about his journey in battling leukemia. In a Nov. 18 post on Facebook, Bradley opened up about transitioning to hospice care.
“We’ve done everything we could do to fight this beast. 5 rounds of chemo, a failed stem cell transplant, failed clinical trials and a failed immunotherapy trial,” reads the post. “I’m at home now, surrounded by my family. Jason and the kids have been so loving and devoted to my care all this time. Truly, we have fought this disease together.”
On Monday night, Columbus City Council passed a resolution in honor of Bradley’s life and legacy.
A memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at King Avenue United Methodist Church. In lieu of sending flowers, Bradley’s family has requested that gifts be made to the Chris Bradley Memorial Fund of The Columbus Foundation. Find more information here.
