Experience Columbus is welcoming visitors to the Arnold Sports Festival this weekend in a big way. The organization officially opened their third local visitor center, this time right inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Located next door to the food court area, the center provides guests with information about local attractions, destinations, restaurants, shopping and other points of interest during their stay.
“Our presence in the convention center gives us a tremendous opportunity to connect with convention attendees and provide the resources and information they need to have a great experience in Columbus,” said Brian Ross, Experience Columbus president and CEO. “Thanks to our partners at the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority and SMG, who recognized the importance of this addition, we are in a prime location to intersect and engage with visitors.”
The new visitor center is open seven days a week until 5pm with extended hours during major events like The Arnold. Similar to other centers located in the Arena District and at Easton, the new space will double as a store that sells locally designed merchandise for sale.
