Hosted by Atticus Hannel Coulter Garden and Ernest L Whitted Jr
I invite you to join me on March 17th at my home for an intimate conversation centered around U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders as he seeks the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in 2020. While we’re just over a year from the Ohio March 3rd primary, it’s never too early to start talking about the issues that are important to our South Side community.
In 2016 I had the privilege to volunteer and then go on to work for Senator Sanders during his bid for the Democratic nomination. Social Justice has been the work of his life. As an Area Commissioner representing the very community I was born and raised in, I’m proud to endorse Bernie Sanders and believe that OUR community would benefit greatly from his presidency. Bernie Sanders is working to unite this country and he recognizes that change does not occur from the top down, but from the bottom up.
Whether you’ve been following Senator Sanders your entire life, or you’re hearing about him for the first time, I invite you to join me on March 17th. All are welcome. If you do not have transportation, please let me know and a volunteer will pick you up and drop you off. If you are deaf or hearing impaired, please let me know so we will insure that there is a translator at the conversation. We’ll have beverages and snacks. There’s plenty of street parking.
Look forward to seeing you there!
