Works by Albert Gray and George Brazil

In this exhibit, painter Albert Gray and photographer George Brazil showcase their congruent aesthetic, which acknowledges and even celebrates the minutia of daily life, both documenting in their respective mediums with an anthropological eye.

Albert Gray grew up in eastern Connecticut before moving to Massachusetts to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking (2008) from Montserrat College of Art. In addition to printmaking, he studied painting, drawing, and multimedia. After spending several years in Boston and New York, he relocated to Columbus, Ohio. Drawn to the energies of open or vacated spaces, detritus, and things otherwise out of place, he has developed a body of work unique to his experiences in the region.

Ryan Miller is a photographer living in Columbus Ohio. His interests include: sad houses, pretty foods, people misbehaving, and people looking at art. When he’s not listening to music or playing it for other people, he’s taking snaps. He prefers Ektar over Portra and occasionally enjoys speaking about himself in third person.
