Student Instrument Drive
The Gift of Music collects and donates musical instruments to Columbus City Schools, Charter Schools, after-school programs, and organizations that serve our deserving youth. Conceived and operated since 2019 by Music Columbus (formerly Columbus Music Commission) more than $327,000 of new, or gently used instruments and equipment have been donated.
The campaign ensures that students have access to music education and life-long tools for positive change. Development of socialization skills, self-esteem, responsibility, teamwork, and musicianship are the net results achieved by Gift Of Music.
So, dust off that instrument that’s been doing nothing but collecting dust and put it to much better use.
No instrument? No problem! You can make a cash donation. For information about the program or to make a direct donation, visit http://www.giftofmusic.info/. All donations are tax deductible.
