On Wednesday, May 1 from 6pm to 8pm, the City of Columbus will be hosting a conversation for South of Downtown Neighborhoods (German Village, Brewery District & South Side) to discuss the Columbus Strategic Parking Plan. An important discussion about the future of parking in our historic district and the surrounding neighborhoods. The conversation will start at 6pm and is open to anyone.
The Strategic Parking Plan will include a brief report of existing parking conditions and behavior, strategic and dynamic parking management strategies, and parking demand management recommendations. This plan will serve as a template for the City of Columbus Division of Parking Services to – in conjunction with neighborhood stakeholders – evaluate and implement specific parking management changes. Most of the time will be focused on gathering input through fun and engaging activities. This a unique opportunity to think creatively about the future.
Please help make the conversation a success with your attendance and forwarding this or sharing your own invitations with your network. If you, or anyone from your network, are unable to attend the meeting, an online engagement opportunity will be made available on the Park Columbus website.
