Join Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Tuesday, March 3 for State of the Girl, a community event that explores issues affecting girls today.
Keynote speaker, Sophia Mohr, chief innovation officer for Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), will share her journey and how she overcame obstacles to become a successful executive at COTA. Guests will also hear from Lily C., a Girl Scout who is doing incredible things, and participate in table talk conversations that will focus on challenges girls face, including STEM literacy.
We hope you can join this dynamic conversation with community members and leaders to ensure the workforce of the future is filled with strong, confident women. Together we can unleash the power of girls.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the event begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Boat House at Confluence Park, located at 679 W. Spring St. in Columbus.
