June is National Dairy Month and what better way to celebrate than a tour of Snowville Creamery’s Production Plant and dairy farm. They are calling this their first annual event and are inviting anyone who would like to experience pasture-based dairy farming. The event goes from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, June 5, 2010. Bring sturdy shoes. They will also be talking about “the health of cows in connection with sustainable pasture-management techniques.” The beautiful photo above is of their herd. If you are unable to attend this event, but would like to tour other dairies around Ohio, visit the website OhioDairyFarmers.com to set one up.
