Self Defense with Dublin Police
Women and teen girls: Recognize and deal with dangerous situations. The Dublin Police Personal Defense Program teaches preventive strategies, and mental awareness skills to avoid or effectively deal with potentially dangerous situations. Victim prevention techniques are the main focus. Instructors also teach techniques for assault response and escape.
This is a 4 hour course over two evenings. Students should wear comfortable clothes.
Dublin Police Officers instruct the course incorporating universal self-defense concepts, and those from a program called P.R.O.T.E.C.T. (Personal Response Options, Tactically Effective Counter Techniques). The officers are experienced trainers and have all completed advanced training in the area of defense tactics.
