Meet central Ohio woodworker Scott Gordon and learn about his passion for finding the natural beauty in wood and transforming it into art.

“All of my pieces are wood-based, primarily using only natural colors of the wood,” Gordon explains. “I find the innate splendor in the wood, including the burls and knots. Sometimes, this may make the object functionally unusable, such as a bowl, for example. Artistically, however, the outcome is the only one of its kind. The beauty of the object will far outweigh the functionality every time.”
