Central Ohio activists are joining a nationwide protest to demand that U.S. Attorney General William Barr and elected officials make the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report public. Congressional leaders set a deadline of Tuesday, April 2, to receive the full report, but Barr failed to meet that deadline.
Joining organizations such as Move On, Common Cause, and Stand Up America on a National Day of Action, Indivisible groups representing Ohio Congressional Districts 3, 12, and 15 will hold a rally outside of Senator Rob Portman’s downtown Columbus office at 5pm tomorrow, April 4.
Activists will thank Central Ohio members of the House of Representatives who joined in the unanimous vote to release the full Mueller report. They will also thank both Ohio senators, who have called for the report to be made public. Activists demand that all these members of Congress back up their votes and words with actions to ensure Attorney General Barr does not deny Americans the full transparency they deserve.
Similar rallies will take place in hundreds of U.S. cities and towns. More information can be found at www.TrumpIsNotAboveTheLaw.org.
