January 22 @ 6:00 pm

columbus city schools graduates

We need your perspective as we develop our Portrait of a Graduate, a collective vision that articulates our community’s aspirations for every student in Columbus.

What are the skills and mindsets that our children need to succeed in this rapidly changing and complex world?

Our Portrait of a Graduate will be our North Star, bringing our community together with a shared vision.

Open to all Columbus community members. Come with friends, family, and colleagues!

Columbus City Schools is hosting four Community Conversations in January 2020 as the District is ready to begin the process of developing its Portrait of a Graduate, a collective vision that establishes aspirations for every student in Columbus.

The four Community Conversations are open to the public and will last from 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. Community members are invited to attend a session on the date and location that best meets their schedule.

Thursday, Jan. 9, 6:00 p.m., Northland High School (1919 Northcliff Dr., 43229)
Thursday, Jan. 16, 6:00 p.m., East High School (1500 E. Broad St., 43205)

What are the skills and mindsets that our children need for success in this rapidly changing and complex world?
CCS is partnering with Battelle for Kids to develop its Portrait of a Graduate, which will serve as the shared educational vision for CCS and the Columbus community. The CCS Portrait Design Team will lead the visioning process and will be informed through the Community Conversations. This team is comprised of more than 150 internal and external stakeholders, which includes families, students, teachers, administrators, staff, and partners.
