The Ohio Plein Air Society is holding its annual competition in Columbus this year September 24-27.
The competition culminates with all participating artists (normally around 50) displaying their work ,created during the competition, for sale on the quad at CCAD in front of the Crane Center 112 Cleveland Ave. from 11am-2pm on the 27th. Artists will also be painting on site as part of the ‘quick draw’ competition. This event is held outdoors and is free and open to the public. Winning entries will be selected by representatives from Columbus art galleries.
This competition draws plein air artists from all over Ohio as well as surrounding states.
