The goal of this group is to provide support for our sisters in this time of quiet suffering. Silently fighting for our lives and our marriages every day— alone. There is no cost to attend.
It is also the hope that we manage to help our sisters resolve their issues and keep the marriage in-tact. Divorce is an option and a very important topic that deserves its own separate treatment. It is outside of the scope of this group and we ask that it not brought into the conversations. This is not meant to be limiting but empowering us to explore difficulty without the pressure to abandon those challenges but to power through them with support, loving acceptance, and we will also serve as a network for each other, for those who are called to do so.
This group will meet monthly, the third Wednesday of every month. We will have guest speakers as a warm up and idea generator who will then depart the space. Any guests who do not want to join in the support circle may do also. There is no obligation to stay. Support Circle to follow. Closing remarks and Connections afterward.
This group is currently only open to cis-women, in heteronormative, legally binding marriages. Please do not bring children, even nursing infants. No children allowed. No exceptions.
We ask that you put your devices on silent and not on your person, and that you do not consume any beverages or food during the Support Circle portion. Some find a journal helpful.
Please contact organizer Ria Greiff if you have any questions (614) 307-6900.
