Come support local entrepreneurs at the first annual Millennial Mashup hosted at Barnett Park every Saturday beginning September 5 until October 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Barnett Park is located in east Columbus at 1184 Barnett Road.
Over 15 vendors will have items for sell ranging from jewelry, clothing, eyelashes, natural skincare, and accessories. Kid vendors ranging from ages 5-17 will also have items available for sale. All items available for purchase are inexpensive and bargain deals.
The focus of the Millennial Mashup is to shine a light on young entrepreneurs in the community. “We want the community to realize that there are young entrepreneurs trying to grow and get more support,” the host, Nyah Booker, stated. “I noticed that whenever I went to events, I was always the youngest vendor and I wanted to change that.”
There will also be a food truck available for guests to purchase meals. Social distancing guidelines will be enforced. Participants and vendors are required to wear masks. All vendors will be set up six feet apart.
Millennial Mashup is still accepting kid vendors ages 12-17. A $20 deposit is required which covers 50% of the second week; the first week is free. For more information contact Nyah Booker or visit her Instagram @atbnyah or on Facebook @as_told_by_nyah.
