Kids will learn to cook a complete meal from scratch in Food For Thought Kitchen’s Spring Savory Series classes. Every student will be hands on, learning skills and creating a delicious soup. After they cook, they’ll eat dinner!
We’re continuing to work on knife skills and creating simple, delicious, nourishing dishes from scratch. Students will make chicken noodle soup and learn how to adapt the recipe with a variety of proteins, vegetables and seasonings.
Parents must remain in the kitchen with students 7 and younger, but all parents are welcome to stay, learn and taste!
Students with food allergies and sensitivities are welcome, these recipes are easy to adapt. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions ahead of time so we can work with you on safety and have the ingredients on hand.
We’ll see you in the kitchen!
We’ve partnered with our friends at Stauf’s to bring you this limited-edition coffee blend celebrating 20 years of CU! Every purchase supports our mission of serving the community award-winning local journalism!
