The Hidden Life of Things: Andean and Amazonian Cultural Artifacts and the Stories They Tell

Among indigenous communities of the Andes and Amazonia, wisdom and meaning-making are passed down from one generation to the next by way of practice, experience and applied knowledge of the processes behind beautifully-made things.
