Great seats are still available for the GermainCars.com Ohio Scholastic Play-By-Play Classic next Saturday, December 14 at Nationwide Arena. Bronny James, the son of NBA megastar and Ohio’s own LeBron James, joins Zaire Wade, son of Dwayne Wade, as a collection of the nation’s top prep basketball teams and players. Sierra Canyon has started the season 4-0 and defeated Texas’ top team Duncanville, in front of 12,000 fans at American Airlines Arena in Dallas last Saturday. The 2-time defending state California champions are ranked in the top 3 in every major high school poll in the country and boasts a minimum of 10 future Division 1 players.

The marquee game of the showcase event will see James, Wade, and the rest of their Sierra Canyon (CA) squad take on eight-time Ohio high school state champion St. Vincent-St. Mary, LeBron’s alma mater and last year’s Play-By-Play Classic Group 1 runner up. That game tips off at 8:30 pm and caps off a quadruple-header.

The action starts at 3:00 pm when Columbus South meets Thomas Worthington. Then at 4:45 pm, the nation’s No. 2-ranked sophomore Chris Livingston and his Akron Buchtel team face Pickerington Central, followed by a clash of Central Ohio’s top two teams Pickerington North vs. Hilliard Bradley at 6:30 pm.

“This event will be the biggest prep basketball event to come to Columbus in a very long time,” said Zach Fleer, owner of 270 Hoops. “With the national attention that Bronny James will bring, this event on December 14 puts a huge spotlight on the teams and players from Central Ohio and beyond.”

Tickets are good for ALL FOUR GAMES. Tickets are on sale now at the Big Lots! Box Office at Nationwide Arena or can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets may also be purchased at participating schools.
