For our final show of the season we have the honor of bringing you Rachel Sepulveda and Quartet, Paddy Wagon Food truck, and J-Pops!
Tickets: This event is FREE, no ticket needed!
Where: The Harrison Park Gazebo (near the Olentangy Trail).
When: 1:00-2:30 PM on Sunday Sept. 29th, 2019.
About the Band: Rachel Sepulveda is no stranger to the Columbus jazz scene. A dynamic and captivating performer, Rachel draws inspiration from jazz, Latin, and R&B grooves. In the shade of our Gazebo, Rachel will lead a quartet of Columbus’ finest jazz musicians, performing both original material and songs you already know by heart.
Additional things to know: This performance is FREE! Seating is available on the grass in front of the gazebo so bring a blanket and an umbrella (there isn’t much shade in the park yet!). Paddy Wagon Food truck will be onsite serving some of the best sandwiches, salads, and tacos you have every had, and J-Pops will be tempting us with their yummy artisan popsicles in a range of flavors! There is also a playground next to the gazebo for the kiddos. Harrison West Society will have chalk available for anyone who wants to get their art on while they enjoy the concert.
There are no restroom facilities available at this park so make sure to accomodate for this before you head out. :)
Lastly, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to our sponsors, many of whom have been with us since the beginning! We love you guys! – Wagenbrenner Development, City of Columbus – City Hall, Integrated Building Systems, Katalina’s, Ken Wightman, United Way of Central Ohio, Thompson Hine LLP, The Columbus Foundation, PNC, and Ohio Alliance for Arts Education.
A little about us: The Harrison West Jazz Stage was started by two former Harrison Westers (Mark Subel and Dara Schwartz who are also the co-founders of our sister music series, the Bexley Jazz in the Park Series) for Harrison West neighbors and the larger Columbus community. It is entirely volunteer run and is now hosted by the Harrison West Society. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Mark and Dara, and to all the volunteers who have helped to support this event over the last seven years! ♥
