Although this class is still taught in the classical Hatha yoga style, it moves at a slower pace for students of all sizes, ages and fitness levels. It’s also a great class if you have any chronic issues such as arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, MS, cancer, etc. Less complicated poses, supported by props, are used to bring a deeper awareness of the body while working on flexibility, strengthening and relaxation. This class also helps you learn to trust your body in a safe and relaxing environment. Yoga mats provided or bring your own if you prefer. All ages and fitness levels may attend; however, participants should be able to get on/off the floor.
