November 21

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on November 21, 2020 12:00 am at 12:00 am

Blockfort presents Flickering on the Edge of Anthropocene, a curated exhibition of photographic works, each dealing with the topic of climate change. The exhibition is curated by Darren Lee Miller, Chair of the Department of Photography at the Columbus College of Art and Design. Artists in the show include Allison Maria Rodriguez (Boston, MA), Barry Underwood (Cleveland, OH) and Kathryn Vajda (Rochester, NY). The exhibition runs from October 2 – November 21.

As with most businesses affected by the pandemic, Blockfort has set guidelines for viewing our exhibitions. We have adjusted our exhibition calendar to host shows for longer periods of time, allowing for a longer duration of the work being available to the public. In lieu of a public opening, Blockfort will be producing short documentary video pieces that will go on social media to introduce the exhibitions to the public. Works will be available for sale on the Blockfort website over the duration of the exhibition. Guests wanting to see the work in person may email [email protected] to schedule visits. Additional viewing hours may be posted on our social media channels. In person guests are limited to no more than six (6) persons in the gallery at all times. Masks are mandatory.
