Celebrate the holiday season by joining us and COS Wines in the Italian American tradition of the Feast of the Seven Fishes. The grand dinner, traditionally held on Christmas Eve, will take place on Monday, December 10th, at 6pm with a welcome punch hour beginning at 5pm.
Enjoy seven different seafood courses, from Chef Tyler Minnis, paired alongside seven different wines from COS Winery.
COS was founded by school friends Giambattista Cilia (C), Giusto Occhipinti (O), and Pinuccia Strano (S) when they began making wine for pleasure and ended up creating a company that would become one of the most well known in Sicilia. In 1980, the trio became the youngest winemakers in Italy. Fascinated by ancient cellar practices, COS decided to work with amphoras, clay jars that were used by the ancient Greeks and were among the first to bring biodynamic and “natural” wine making to southern Italy. Today they make exciting natural wine that are elegant, and expressive of the terroir, passion and culture of southern Sicily.
Dan Frey, Central Region Manager for Domaine Select Wine and Spirits, Importers of COS Wines will be on hand to explain the wines, imbibe, and enjoy in the nights festivities.
