Facing the Divide: The Impact of Slavery

February 17 @ 6:00 pm

America’s “original sin” has left an indelible imprint on our nation’s soul. For many, the wound has never healed. Some demand that we no longer speak of it, while others — who live with its enduring impact — continually fight in hopes that America will finally have the conversation it has refused to have for over 400 years.

Join the Columbus African Council and other community partners for an important conversation on the impact of slavery and how, as individuals and community leaders, we can set a course for a more prosperous future throughout the African Diaspora in Columbus.
