Entangled Threads – Opening Day

May 14 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) will open the newest exhibition in its community meeting room and gallery, Entangled Threads, on Friday, May 14.

Organized by the King Arts Complex and curated by Lyn Logan-Grimes, the exhibition features five Columbus-area fiber artists whose work is a unique representation of creative experimentation that manipulates line, color, form, shape, space, value and texture. The work is bold and illustrates common societal connections and speaks of narratives centered around aesthetic, identity and contemporary culture.

Artists in the exhibition include Don “Doncee” Coulter, Wendy Kendrick, Margene May, Carolyn Ready and Maryhelen Fernandez Stewart. The work is available for sale.

The exhibition will be up through Sept. 2. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors must wear masks and comply with social distancing guidelines; there will be a limit of four people in the gallery at any time.
