E-Waste Recycling Event to Benefit People with Barriers to Employment hosted by Aware.
(Columbus, Ohio) On Tuesday, May 21st, 2019, RenTek and Aware are teaming up to offer an electronics recycling drive in the north end of Kroger’s parking lot at 150 W Sycamore St.
Anyone wishing to recycle computer equipment and other electronics can drop items off at the north end of Kroger parking lot, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – just follow the signs on Front St. marked “Recycling Event.” Volunteers will be on hand to unload the items from your vehicles. All electronic data and personal information professionally erased using a method that observes R2 compliant standards.
Acceptable items for recycling include:
– Most all electronic devices
– Computers & Servers
– iPads & iPods
– Cell phones
– Gaming systems
– Home stereos
– DVD players
– Wires & cables
– LCD and CRT monitors
– Computer mice
– Ink and toner cartridges
– Computer parts and accessories
**Please note items containing Freon will not be accepted and a small fee will be charged for tube/projection TV’s ($2.00 per inch), printers/scanners/copiers ($2.00 ea.), LCD TV’s ($10.00 ea.) and CRT monitors ($20.00 ea.).
