This event brings together seven downtown art spaces for a day of art and special programming. Participants include Beeler Gallery at Columbus College of Art & Design, Columbus Museum of Art, Contemporary Art Matters, Cultural Arts Center, Hawk Galleries, OSU Urban Art Space, and OAC’s Riffe Gallery. Go beyond your usual cultural destinations and enjoy the range and vibrancy of the Columbus art scene, from curator-led tours to art demonstrations. Start at noon at Beeler Gallery for hand-pour coffee provided by Brioso Coffee and at 3:15 p.m. enjoy Coco Cat Bakery & Chocolates at Cultural Arts Center. End the afternoon at Riffe Gallery and Contemporary Art Matters for artists’ receptions.

Join Beeler Gallery for Instance No. 3 of Season Two: Follow the Mud, coinciding with Downtown Art Sunday. Brooklyn-based French artist Michel Auder and Central Ohio-based artist Michael Stickrod present a sculptural installation, May ’68 in ’78, with video of never-before-seen interviews conducted on the reverberation of the student movement in France in 1968, shot 10 years afterward.
