On our Coffee Tour, we go deep into coffee; deep into roasting, espresso, and even into getting the best out of making coffee at home. Pros like Andy Luck of Luck Bros, head roaster Tommy Goetz of Stauf’s, and the management of Brioso share a lot of their knowledge and a lot of good coffee. Come curious, and we promise you’ll leave feeling both a whole lot more knowledgeable and emphatically caffeinated. Upcoming dates are March 16th, 30th and April 6th.
The format is simple: we’ll visit a roaster to learn about what goes into turning raw coffee beans into something exquisite, a top espresso bar to discuss turning those beans into top quality espresso drinks, and a premier coffee purveyor to learn about how to get the best from your beans at home. At each stop there will be coffee and snacks, and – most importantly – plenty of information on how to get the best out of home coffee preparation!
Our first stop will be at Luck Bros to hear from Andy Luck about how to improve your coffee making at home. Our second stop will be at the roasting facility at Stauf’s where we will get a behind the scenes look at the art and science of roasting. We will also do a cupping and learn about how coffees are sourced and selected. Our final stop will be at Brioso downtown where we will discuss espresso drinks and learn more about the art of the barista from their talented team.
The next available dates are March 16th, March 30th and April 6th 2019. If you are interested in the coffee tour and would like to be notified of future dates please contact us. This tour is $52 per person which includes transport, coffee samples, snacks and some coffee beans to take home.
An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, repeating until December 28, 2019 12:00 am
