What if a city was built by artists? Cloud City will show us with a unique experience on September 7, 2019. The “multimedia bazaar” will be held from 2pm-midnight and include film, gaming, fashion, comedy, podcast, dance, mindfulness, skating, and 23+ live music performances. This brand new festival is brought to you by a diverse group of local artists in collaboration with Wild Goose Creative, the Franklinton Board of Trade, and many other partners and will take place at the indoor/outdoor event space 400 West Rich.
About 300 people have already gotten a taste of Cloud City at the pre event, which boasted a shrunken down version of the 9/7 event with music performances, a music video directors’ showcase, a mindfulness virtual reality experience, gaming stations, a dank meme war, and a custom photo set. One attendee claimed, “The pre event was so dope, I thought it was the main event!”
Enter an immersive, multisensory refuge that inspires self expression and energy exchange. Elevate into a far but familiar capital city, with Columbus Alive’s “Band to Watch,” Kashiz Keyz & the Seedz rocking out in front of city structures such as the comedy club, barcade, and The Phantom Reality meditation den. Try out your investigative reporter skills via an interactive experience by indie news station Matter. Groove to DJs like Blue and NicNacc after creating your own content at the Cozy International pop up photo studio.
Sound like your kind of metropolis? Grab your ticket and a map, you’ll only have about 10 hours to explore before it dissipates.
